Opus 1.0 Reference Manual
Abstract
This document specifies the form and establishes the interpretation of programs expressed in the OPUS coordination language. OPUS is designed as a set of extensions to HPF and Fortran 90. The goal of OPUS is to define language extensions for HPF supporting the coordination of data parallel tasks. OPUS introduces coarse grained task parallelism on top of fine grained data parallelism. Furthermore OPUS supports the coupling of multiple programs into complex multidisciplinary codes.
